Pipe dreams and a an over active memory. Frenching refers to the look of French cuffs on a shirt. A recessed area and the cuff rim. Or so I'm told. Or maybe it did evolved from a prolonged session with Cindy Lou behind the girls gym. Next question.

I painted a 1969 Shelby GT500 once that had an auxiliary oil cooler out in front of the radiator. What option group was this oil cooler a part of?

I sure wish I had taken more pictures of this stuff.

The external oil cooler was part of the Drag Package and I believe the SCJ 428 was also part of that package.

You are right but you are very wrong simply by not saying the NAME of this package, it was very cool sixties sounding.

Edsel, gear shifting on the steering wheel. For many, it was a major reason not to buy, even my Dad would say :" it's dangerous, being on the steering wheel like that". But my Dad didn't like anything that wasn't 3 on the tree. Edsel was electrically shifted with buttons.

You got it. Probably not as dangerous as people thought but it was just another nail in Edsel's coffin. Go for it Dinger. Show us what you got!

The public can get all kinds of odd things in their heads.
Have you ever seen the stuff in news about Teddy Bears and how they weren't a "proper" toy for a girl because she can't learn how to care for a baby like a baby doll? But in the same sentence it was ok for boys.
