The legandary Black Widow was offered in two colors ,although one was iconick,what were the colors

Ok, I thought they were all black, but after a little search they were were black and white. All of them were painted black and white two tone.

well actually they wereshown in gm broshure as two tone black and white ,there were 81 built in turquoise and white ,they were all 150 series ,the b/w were offered in 150 & 210 versiuns all had 6 lug wheels ,larger gas tanks backseat deleate on some other options was after june 31 it was offered as a 4 speed factory ,not a dealer add on also fuel injection or 2 -4 barrel carbs

SORRY i need to make a corection the turquoise & white cars were called Nascar competion coupes, only the black and white were called Black Widow althougn they had the same equipment ( You are right) its your floor

Thanks a LOT. very informative ,even there were built (converted ) here on Atlanta i have only saw 2 real versions ,have seen clones at car shows ,There is a real one in Calhoun turquoise /white and another close by ,black/white ,neither is for sale .they keep them in stotage no one gets to see them,what a shame again Thanks aL lot

Boothboy ,good info the last sight you posted ,i have read most of it ,one person said he bought a new black widow ,and at tha atlanta plant they had a red one and a autumn gols (bright yellow ) when he picked his up never heard that one before ,accepted by most peopke all were black because of the name Black Widow was acually given by a news reporter, after nascar band the use of fuel injection ,he said all dressed up and no where to go.talking about the fuel injection , so the name stuck it didnt have any thing to do with color. after the band Smokey Unick went on to win with a 380cfm carter carb ,he probably could have won with about anything
