Corvair? Well that's pretty absurd! Yep that's it.
66GMC got it first. Didn't think we had a bunch of Covair experts here.
Years ago my buddy and I took a Corvair engine and a honkin' big surplus generator and built a tow-able APU to start a old WWll twin engine airplane we were restoring. Pretty nice engine.

66GMC go for it!

I have a '63 monza convertable that has been in the dry since 1976. I can't give it away. I knew those air cleaners.

It is a barn find basket case. I have not checked but bet money the engine is stuck. It also has some front end parts missing. I had an old '58 Cushman eagle (basket case) a buddy wanted so we traded. That was several years ago and it is still in his shed. It is a pretty solid old car though. Red with black interior and 4 speed. The problem is they don't have a whole lot of value after you build it.

Well I'll slip another one in here and 66GMC can jump in when he wants to. I came across this picture the other day.

Identify these engines.

Try hitting the control and the plus button on the keyboard. Minus for smaller.
