I don't think you would have asked the question unless it was kinda weird, I am thinking some under hood light or something like that. What the heck is with that wire coming into the reflector area? Can you take a few more photos?

How about those dimensions and does the bulb have one or two filaments?

That wire must have gone to a back up light or something that is mounted in the middle of the lens? Hmmmm

The bulb would have two filaments. I'm guessing it's about 8 inches across.
