Pretty cool car. Your right, I have never seen this! Had fun trying to find info on it, now at least I know what I found was correct.
Not my first guess ether but one of two that I could think of that would sport such a drive line.

What a car! I had a guy in my high school autoshop class with one! It was in the shop at school, I had forgotten this until I saw that photo. I don't know who it was but I remember his face, the car had a small block in it, wow, I have to ask one of my old friends if he remembers who it was and any details.
What an awesome car that is.

Its spelled Cheete in the pic. (Cheetah) you can still buy the kits to build that car! I put one together in the 70s on a Vette frame. They were heavy competition for the ford AC Cobras back in the day? I never knew any were made of metal !!

I got my info from Bill Thomas website it says the first car Body built in ireland was constructed of metal .probably aluminum, and next 10 were glass balance were produced in USA also fiberglass* cars before building Burned they were thin layed glass not mat.for light weight.,they still make cheap kit car bodies that you build the way you want .but latley i have ben getting different versions of the same story depending on who wrote the article.which totals 19 although only 18 were built

I think Bill Thomas is building and selling the kit cars isn't he or he was? I didn't google to see if he is or not?

Jester

I searched and see Thomas sold the rights to the car and some dealers use his name for promotion
