Bunkie was a interesting guy. His father was a past president of GM and Bunkie himself was a VP at GM . He got passed by by Ed Cole for GM presidency and jumped over to become Ford's president. I guess picken's was slim at Ford at that time. He brought a lot of GM styling over with him. That pointed nose on the 70 T Bird was taken from the 69 Gran Prix. He was only Fords president for a couple of years and he got dumped for Iacocca.

IF and I say IF it has the original engine then it would be a very expensive car when finished, however its a cost versus return thing just like any other restoration. If it doesn't have the original "Boss" 302, then it is just another mustang unfortunately which puts it in a lot lower price and desirability bracket. On the bright side, parts are cheap for mustangs, relatively speaking.

As for the question, I wanna say bugler? or something close to that? It's been a long day please forgive the spelling. If that is right someone else take the floor. I don't know if I will get back soon enough to post anything. Ya'll be safe, be productive, and always have fun.

Nope, not Bugler. But the name DOES have to do with the man's profession.

Your wheel covers appear to be 50-53 Olds.
Here's a good website to help identify old hubcaps hubcaps.org
