Since La Salle was an explorer who i think discovered Michigan where the cadillac are built ,and GM purchaced Cadalliac And La salle from the founders i will guess the ornament is named Lasalle ,, probably not i think i an 3 in 10 now.

Well it took me twenty minutes to figure how to spell it but that is the Cadillac Herald. Knew what it was couldn't spell it worth a darn. And when he wasn't Heralding for Cadillac his name was Quido.

Looks like it may cut or put a mark in like a glass cutter. It tightens down with the wing nut putting pressure against the wheels or blade if that is what it is, Hmmmmmm
