Just checking to see how many of you hard core grease-under-the -fingernails gearheads are closet "Trekie" geeks!

Who designed and built this? You all know him.

Starfleet Academy, used for training purposes.

You had to succesfully dock with a Constitution-class starship before acheving the rank of Ensign.

(OK, it's pure bullseye ... but it sounds good!)

Nope but when you find out you'll say, "Well I'll be darned!"

Dean did however supply vehicles for the movies. The vehicle below use to sit in his parking lot on Ventura Blvd. for years. Might still be there?

Guilty as charged.

In fact ... I was so inspired that I went and watched "Star Trek II - Wrath of Kahn" on Netflix, which included all of the original cast from the TV series.

That's the answer I was looking for!

It's yours Crash!

BB

Here's a couple more of his creations.

A side note about Dean Jeffries. One of his famuse cars was the Mantaray Bubble car The base car he started was a 'Bird Cage" Maserati' One the auction market today that car is worth a million plus. He stripped it used the frame, brakes, tube structure and missolanious other parts. He threw away the drive train and body. I've heard him lament about his choice of a parts car.

A fireman might have used them but probably not for hydraulic fittings.

These are tools correct? And this is a set correct? If they are a set is that the box they came in? They almost look like quick disconnects. Pneumatic?
