I have saw that handle before on something ,cant remember what ,,could you give a time frame ,50s -60s .???

It looks like 1st series Mustang ,but the one in the photo seems to twist down at front to open.?

Nope, it's not a pickup and it is not a Mustang. Yes it twists down to open the door. I am holding it up because the latch is broken and it just hangs down.
