How many American cars in the 60ís had a handle with a push button and twisted? This is indeed a puzzler. If I had the address of Brian's shop I would Google Earth it......

And there lies the puzzler, it's not a button! I never said it was a button.

That's it, that is not a button, it's a rubber bumper.

Optima battery what a Joke

I bought a red top optima battery 3 weeks ago to go in my truck,we got all electrical wiring complete today .when I tried to turn the engine to install distrubitor the &200 dollar battery was Dead Never Been Used so I read the papers that came with the battery ,it reads NEVER let the voltage drop below 12.4 volts you must buy a special charger for it,and keep a trickle charger on it when not used daily.? if it drops below 10.5 volts you cannot charge it ,you must hook it to a fully charged battery then connect the charger to the charged battery for two hours before the Optima will take charge ,no jump start unless you have two hours ,mine is going back tomorrow ,what a POS for two hundred dollars 196 to be exact.

Nope, that isn't even close to what that handle is.

Good one Brian! When that button became a bumper the Corvair was the only American vehicle made in the sixties that I could remember that had unrestricted doors that would require a bumper. I don't think I ever saw one. The only other vehicle I could think of was a Divco van!
