I don't remember seeing the 4 engine car. I didn't take a pic if it was there. I have a pic of the twin engine from the museum.

What would have been the top of the line stereo in a 78 Cadillac?

No Bose, I don't believe anyone had any idea what "Bose" was at that time. No, it was a Delco from what I remember.

Yeah Bose was around in the seventies but on a professional basis. The studios were using some of the're equipment.
As I remember the Caddies ( and Pontiac's) top unit would have consisted of a AM/FM Eight Track stereo with a crap load of speakers.

BB

And maybe with a CB feature!!

You have it BB, yep, I had a 78 Cad Fleetwood Brougham exactly like this one.

It was 1985 traded in a SUPER NICE 68 Camaro RS like this one but blue and without the stripes.

The Camaro had a 327, powerglide. And I have to tell you that Cad with the 425 would have blown it's ever lovin doors off! And handle, holy crap that thing had four wheel disc brakes, big sway bars front and rear. It was really a nice car, and still to this day I don't regret it. That Cad was a nice car.

I believe it had a CB as I remember with all the controls on the mic, the read out of the station, everything right in your hand. Yep, and 8 track baby! I think it came stock with a pack a matches to wedge under or over the tape to make it hit the correct tracks so you only heard one song at a time.

It's your floor BB.
