You can't read my mind? Ok, it's a 59 Olds, but what does that door fit on and what mods do you have to make? This cracked me up when I looked at it, it's a very clever way they made this same door fit so many different cars. It's kinda lame at the same time, geeez how cheap can you get.

according to hollanfer, the 59 &60 Cadillac and 59 an60 Olds pillerless coupe shared the same doors ,exept the Olds had a panel on top that had to be removed on holes for s/s had to be welded up ,the Buick and Chevrolet had different doors and didn't share with each other or with the Olds or Caddy

the Cadilliac series 75 is the exeption it didn't share with Any other car. ho wooda thunk it

Probably everything in the GM line except Caddy. As I remember it had a different hood line. Probably the only mods would be belt line mouldings and color.

BB

see above.

BB, I will give it to you, but check this out guys, it's not just a "belt moulding" it's the whole body line! The whole top of the Olds door, the painted body line is bolted on! It comes off, you weld up a few holes and it's a 59 Chevy door!

I didn't see this before I gave it to BB. If this is true than it's your floor. But honestly, that door looked like a 59 Chevy door to me!

I didn't think it would fit a 59 Caddy. The car you showed had to be a 59 Olds. The side spear in the picture was only found on the Biscayne and Bel Air but neither offered a hard top in 59. They got the post removed in 60. The only model that came in a hard top was the Impala. Olds also used that spear on a hard top in 59. Had to be a Olds. By "belt line moldings" I was referring to the side spears.
If it does fit a Caddy then I was wrong. I thought the Caddy hood had different lines which would pass onto the door. So it must be 496's turn.
