Yes sir. The 1970 LS6 was the engine I was thinking of. It was rated 450 HP and 500 TQ from the factory. It was the first car/engine that GM allowed to have a higher rating than the corvette. Your floor 496

I forgot about this one 69 Camaro 500 HP at only 5200 rpm although capable of 7200 rpm ,kept rpm down to meet hp reg of the feds.

it had a $4160 dollar option ,that was more than the price of the car ,,
Question what was the option.

Actually, that's partly true. Some of them sat on dealer lots for over a year because of the price tag...

69 is correct.

Not aware of any Corvette's, but I'm' not up on them.

Some were giver to Pro Racers Grumpys Toy and I think Jr Johnson some were sold at a loss;there were 69 Camaros ,none were SS or RS .
.I have read two different storys on the Zl1 corvette 1 article says 3 ,another article says 5 ,ALL were Yellow..car # 1 was hit by a Illegal ,,Drunk driver no insurance in a Ford Fairmont at a car show at the mall in Dalton Ga put on by Dennis brent Chevrolet ,,It received MAJOR damage it was being pulled inside mall by employee of dennis Brent ,owner was not on premises,,they would not disclose ouytome,

There was only 8, 69 T/A convertibles made. Four were manual, four were auto. I don't know if that's what you were looking for or not.
