Hi,
I Goggled this question & on the list of what is offered it says something about Shelby being the first supercharged something or other, but what I think they meant was, the first blown Shelby car.
Rich
PS It gives the answer that 34Fords gave
Hi Dave, Hope your doing well.

I think it is to confusing to figure out! "What was the first official factory supercharged street car" can be kind of a gray area. Sometimes the guy who asks the question has an answer in his head that may not be totally accurate. Or, the question is so "gray" that there are many answers. On the supercharged one, I have no idea and didn't even try.

If you google "what was the first official factory supercharged street car" you come up with a number of links to Shelby sites or Shelby discussions. I think he may have done just that, googled it looking for a question and came up with that "answer". But the Cord or problably the Mercedes back the twenties was REALLY the first supercharged factory built street cars.

1939 Buick is correct, The emblem on the trunk read "Buick eight" and for a left turn, "Buick" would flash and a right, the "eight" would flash. jetnow1, your floor....On a side note, I too googled the supercharger question and came up with several possible answers. Joel

Not for me to say, but as far as I'm concerned, sure, but check your facts.
