What is this engine and how can you id it from the rest of this engine family.

Its a Chevy W-engine and you ID it by looking at which side has the dipstick

You got it this is a 348 you can barley see the dipstick boss on the oil pan not in the block ,Pams are not interchangeable ,,I have heard 409 will fit a 348 but a 348 will not fit a 409 ,,Hear say not Fact,

And I had such a good one!

Wonder if my computer, combined with my net server and this site, will EVER let me post a pic?

I'll keep trying, but, following the instructions given on the site, I keep getting messages that, in effect, tell me to go forth and self-replicate.

It was a pic of a car, challenging folks to ID it, with a "what izzit?" question

I have it saved, but in a WP document.

Now I may have to cc it from there to a different file on my 'pooter so I can upload it from there!

I make my living on the 'pooter, but sometiems I HATE the things

If I don't have something here by the time a few hours have gone by, someone else jump in!

Upload your photos to Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing Once on there, it is 2 clicks and the pic is on here....

Quarters and door coves look like a C2 c2 rear bumpers fins and tail lights looh 60 Chrysler ,has vent windows so it is 67 or older I think it is a 62Damifiknow
