I'm gonna come up with a wild one here because even though the roof was made of sheet-metal it looked like it was stretched over a wire frame. Kinda like a fake convertible. The body also had real sharp lines so I'm thinking the 1964 Impala two door hardtop.

trivia

How about the Pontiac hardtops from the early 60's - 62 or 63 with the sharp fender lines and the roof that was designed to look like a rag-top with ribs "showing"? (and I am at a complete loss for its original model name). Sold here in Canada as a Parisienne (spelling?) and (I think) as a Catalina in the US of A
