Yep, the 401 was used in the Gran Sport (called a 400 because of the GM rule for nothing larger than a 400 in an A body!) had the starter on the left. So this meant it had a completely different wire harness!
Pretty funny being that the GTO simply had larger pistons in the 326 making a 389, the rest of the drive train was identical to the Tempast.
