The antilock braking system in these cars predated any US car by four years. Mercedes was not the first and Cadillac wasn't the first US car with a form of antilock brakes.
One site I was using says a Jensen ,im assuming a 1966 Jensen Healey then another says Mercedes import and cadalliac and Chysler imperial in 71 were origanly used in aircraft ,I guess it is just which site you belive ,started to look up another but it would probably be different also.LOL.
