Post trouble shooting

Ok my problem is that i have a 350 that i freshend up till i could rebuild the bottom end on my other motor. I have a 488 cam 461 heads, 750 carb holley, and more or less everything else is stock.
The problem is im getting fuel to the carb. but it wont start. timings is on 8 degrees advance and it wants to start but wont plugs are firing
but it wont crank all the way over
please reply and help me out

my guess is since you are getting fuel to the carb, i suppose you,ve checked if it was entering your manifold , i would say iether your timing is off about 180 degrees, or you are having a (giant) vacuumleak somewhere, or perhaps you switched your coilwires(points), you will get a spark, but not strong enough to ignite , did you do a compressiontest, or a cilinder leakdown test, this will give you some more info.
and what did you do to freshen up your engine, (maybe camtiming way off?)

you need more info to tell what's going on

replaced the bearings and used gasket kit, lifters, oil pump, pushrods.
When i had the manual 600 on there it started up fine but idled at 2200 and wouldnt adjust down

i would check if your intake is sealed, seems to me you have a huge vacuumleak somewhere.
or did you adjust your valves (zero lash)

if your valves are too tight it wont start.

when i had it running with the 600 carb. it backfire onced then started right up it didnt sound like there was a vocuum leak

well if you say it is no leak, i am all out of options, you have to check things over and over till you find what caused this.
