truck wiring

I know very little about wiring so I look toward the experts, I have attached a diagram I made of my truck bed, I have installed LED lights along the sides of the rails, I am thinking of running two wires along both sides of the bed and splice these LED lights into this wire.

I would then connect this into my main harness that powers my tailights which are not LEDs.

I am concerned with voltage drops/dim lights ect so I figured it best to ask others in the know.

Ive still got to wire in the non LED lights I have mounted on top of my cab into this same harness, is there a limit to how many of these small lights I can have off the same main line? Thanks
