The 302 for 1967 was a small journal crank. They made only 602 of these units. The crank is identified by a wide V notch on the flywheel flange. The 68 and 69 302's used the large journal crank. cast #3941178 (Late) and 3279 (early), also ID'd by the V notch. If the notch is not there, it's not a 302 crank. The block casting you have was also used for the 67 large journal 327 and 350. I would look everything over good for the casting DATES as well as numbers, and find out just exactly what you have before you ruin good vintage parts for a 383. 350 blocks are a dime a dozen.
