Hello.

I've tryed to search the web to see what kind of pistons i have but i can't seem to find them in any lists.

The top of the piston is marked "TRW L2304 0,30" and when i looked at several sites i only get partnr like "TRW L2304F 0,30" ?.

Does anyone know what the F stands for ?, Iknow the "L" stands for Forged.

They do not look like "flat tops".

Does anyone know or could some please submit a link on the subject.

Please forgive my bad english.

That sounds more like a Sealed Power number to me.

I looked it up.
Its all part of the part number L-2304F



11-1 compression ratio (with a 64cc head I assume)
.100 dome
stock pin bore .927
1.560 pin height
5/64",3/16" ring set

I looked at several TRW pistons,while I did not find anything written in stone,all part #'s with the "F" in the part # were flat top pistons.If they were dished or domed they did not have the "F" in the part # but would have something else.

350 Small Block Chevy 10.63:1 CR with 64cc chambers, 2.4cc .100 Dome
Press fit pin. 1/16 3/16 Ring Lands. 1.560 Compression Height.
I came up with the same thing greg did except for the rings, my info came out of Summit Racing.

So what kind of pistons is the ones without the "F" TRW-2304 0.30" ?.

F means forged,without means cast.

P or F, pressed or floating. It denotes the type of wrist pin retention used.

Well for some reason I some of this does not make alot of sense...?

I am running part number L2238NF so does that mean non-floating pin...? If so then why are the full floating pin type pistons with that number on them...? The old part numbers just had an F in them for forged if memory serves...? Also I dont see any of the hyper-type pistons with an F on the end...? Also what would "AF" mean...?

Now not really doubting you (coldknock) but what are these other codes for...?
