TSI torque converter? Good or Bad?

I am in need of a torque converter, looking for a 2500 stall or so and not to break my wallet. This is for a th350, 3.73 gear, and a 450 horse 406 in 72 nova(shift kit, cooler, rebuilt. all the goods)

I think I may have found one on ebay, it is a 2400-2800 stall from TSI and is rated to 500HP for $130, that seems to be a great deal. Here's a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-T...QQcmdZViewItem

Ive never heard of TSI before..So..has anyone used from this company? Is it a good quality?

It's either this one, or a Jegs 12" street converter 2300-2700 stall small 10.75 bolt circle for $130

Also how do I tell if I have a small bolt pattern or a dual pattern flexplate? And on the jegs it says "GM vehicles with varible pitch trans must have the pump and input shaft changed to a fixed pitch design to use this converter" What the heck does that mean and how can I tell if I have one of those?

Which one? Any other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

TSI I was thinking of course thats a reputable brand and then I remembered its TCI that is the reputable brand. They are counting on people mixing up the names! I would not trust it.

I am running this exact converter for 3 years. Mine stalls about 2500rpm behind a 435hp 408sbc. My new motor (421cid) hopefully will be over 500hp and I still plan on running this converter.

TSI is different than Transmission Specialties. Both are good trans companies.
The advertised converter is from the latter. They have been building converters for 20+ years. Go for it. The price is very good.
