tubbing

Hi all i`m tubbing my xjs but i`m doing it a bit blind as i have never tubbed a car before or know anyone who has i have pics on my website www.draguar.yolasite.com any advice would be great just to let me know that i`m going in the right direction!!!!!

Yup..looks like tubbing to me...One thing tho is to find a Ford 9 inch and narrow that as I fear the jag rear will not work all that well in that app..

yeah i have been thinking of that as its the week link the box is th400 3speed and the v12 is builit proof to about 700bhp

We love unique projects here and yours is one!!! I had a '74 XJ-12 sitting around for a long time that I had planned to hot rod...a high horsepower SBC under the hood, big fat rubber all around (sorta NASCAR styled), and some mild body customizing........kinda like a sophisto Caprice SS. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it high enough on my priority list and had to finally get rid of the car to free some space. Your project brings a wistful tear to my eye!

hi thanks. I think its going to be cool when its done. i`m trying hard to resist to earge to put a v8 in it and keep the v12 i know it will be slower but it sounds so diffrent and keeps it unique and they shift on nos have you seen the vid on youtube???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoxEis_Y7F0
