cheap tubular a arms

Hey everyone, new guy here.....

Tyson,

I would respectfully disagree with troy-curt, at least from an actual cash outlay standpoint. Fabbing a set yourself can be done cheaply but you have to have access to the right tools and sources. It will still probably be $150 (US) or more for a full set of uppers and lowers.

You need to get an AFCO Racing catalog. You'll find all the stuff you need to fab them up. Stuff like ball joint inserts, etc. They've got a website of course, just google AFCO Racing. This is a great catalog for disc brake conversions as well. All kings of brackets that are very handy. Particularly for a Monte Carlo which has been raced nearly to death by the roundy rounders....

Next of course is a tubing bender, welder, etc. Your results may vary as they say :-) It will still be a lot of work because you'll need to build jigs first. So, economically speaking, it's still very expensive.

Good luck if you decide to try it and post some pictures of the whole process too...
