Tuck & Roll Interior?

Is anyone using tuck & roll in interiors anymore? Haven't seen any recently, but it was very popular back in the day and it might be nice to use on a rod. if anyone has any pics, please post them or provide some links.

Because it is labor intensive. Most of the more modern rods use the molded panel or stitched seam upholstery. You have to go like resto-rod or traditional, to see the Tuck-n-roll or pleated interiors

I am finding that people are getting sick of the "No Sewing" molded look and getting back to the good old pleated and rolled designs

I just got my '59 El Camino back from my upholstry guy (buddy of mine).
We went with a blue and white interrior with white pleats (tuck and roll). Looks KILLER and it's pretty comfortable.
For some very odd reason I haven't taken any pics yet. I'll take some and post them if you want.

jsdailey,
Here are some pics of my 59 el camino's interrior.
I'm going to match the kicks to the door and inner quarters soon. The reason we didn't do it in the first place was because I couldn't think of a better place to put the front speakers..... I'm working on that now...

Yeah,
I did all the design... I sketched it out and worked very closely with him (and my girlfriend) on the colors.
You can't tell but it's got a really cool silver piping surrounding all the pleats.
I actually had some other ideas, but my buddy thought it might be "too much". I think it came out real tasteful. When the kick panels are matched to the doors it's going be "perfect"

Looking at the pics,
the carpet looks black... It's actually a nice dark blue.
