First off, I think you mean CamAro. Jet offers chips, as does many other big name companies. No matter who you use, if it`s a custom chip your gonna pay more for it. I word "custom" is automatic price increase. I would use Jet, so I`d know I was getting what I was paying for.

How hot is the motor you are going with? As a general rule of thumb with TPI you will want to keep the cam to about 220* and .480 lift for custom chips. Once you venture over that range you will want to have some dyno time and a chip burner so you can get it running right. I dont like the idea of a custom chip for a car the programmer never sees the maps for. It is really hard to build a custom chip over the phone, to many variables to take into account. You will get a chip that makes the car run, but not up to its full potential. I would recommend that you look for someone in the area can burn you a chip spot on, it will take some time as you have to burn a new for every change, but well worth it in the long run.

On another note, have you considered Megasquirt? Its gonna cost more to set it up(I have seen it done for as little as $500 with harness)but will give you the ability to change the tune allot easier. You wount spen so much money on chips that are not right and the tunning time to have some one burn and tune in your home area. Just a thought.
