Tunnel ram?

Can you actually get a tunnel ram to run good on the street? Ive heard so many different stories it makes my chest hurt to think about it. On a mild built 350 horse, 10-1 comp, 500 X 300 lift cam with stock heads? Just curious. HG

Yes it would run OK on the street, it would be determined by the cam, heads,TQ.Converter, I dont understand the cam specs to good and what stock heads would be in your posting.
I would recommend two 4160 390 cfm with vacuum secondaries for the street.

Hey Hem, sorry I havn't been able too really answer the couple of questions you've asked me about my tunnel ram setup, I've been busy getting back into college this fall, etc. I can tell you real quick that I have been driving my tunnel ram just fine as a daily driver since I've gotten the "quirks" worked out. My only problem is that I tend too want too slam the pedal down all the time and havn't quite figured out what too do with the secondaries. I can't fit vacuum diaphragms because of the linkage. It has been driving just as reliable as always. I know I'm one of the kids around here, only 20, and new to hotrodding, but I would be more than willing too tell you everything I've personally went through and learned (mostly from people here on the site), so if you want a PM or something just tell me..........Well hope you do it, they're alot of fun! IMO

Thanks Guys.
I know Myron, but my wifey may go back to school to become a nurse and I may have to build a little cheaper for the time. But just think when she gets her degree and starts bringing home the 35-45 thousand more a year than she does now .

Adrenaline
I may when the time comes hit ya up for some help. It will be a while though. HG
