turbo 350

i have noticed a lot of sbcs(well a few) coming out where the owner had turbo'ed the engine. my question is: is it possible to turbo a 350 with headers since usually the turbo bolts right on to a turbo manifold. my car has headers and i like the idea of turboing a 350 because it is pretty unusual and my car isnt rebuilt too often...

thanks

you could (i say could) if you are good at fabrication fabricate a turbo system with headers. usually you would buy a turbo kit.

I would think that some of the "shorty" headers could be easily adapted for a turbo setup! Possibly flipped or reversed?? I saw a vette by Troy Trepannier (mis-spelled I know) that used a similar theme!
