turbo 350 build for big block chevy
i am building a 454 and goal is to have 600hp i have a turbo 350 now what will it take to make it hold up... it will be a weekend driver no track time just enjoy and crusie.. it is a 82 chevy c-10..and before i hear it yes it will hold that much power

With no idea what 600 HP and the BB torque that comes with it is like, consider buying a tricked out trans from a reputable builder, and expect to pay plenty. To give you an idea, I had a spragless T-400 with a Griner VB built recently for my car, $3,500.00 and I left off some 'niceties' to get the price down. If money isn't an issue, it can be made to hold the power. Maybe a trans guy will chime in here with more details. |
