Hey fellas about to get back to work on my monte...let le give you some info on the issues.Old motor blew up had a race shop build me a fresh 355&I put less than 100 miles on it as I was gonna wait on doing the body work&paint etc before I did more.
Well it sat for a year&went to pull it out of my shop&drove maybe 50 ft &then nothing only gear I had was reverse.I looked&had tons of fluid pouring out of it.Added more&came out just as fast.Put it in reverse back into the shop&it has still sat.&Fluid Still leaks.I know little about trannys&if anybody could help me out Id appreciate it.
If I need a rebuild thats fine but is there anything I could look@before I pull it?I have the whole front end off&my bodywork almost done so Im ready to put it back together&get it rolling.Thanks fellas

On the Th350 you have 2 seals. One is in the front pump behind the torq converter. The other is in the tail shaft where the front of the drive shaft is. You can change the rear one without pulling the trans. The front one the trans has to be pulled. Check it out to see which one is leaking.

If thats the issue would that make sense that I had reverse but no other gears?
