The leak is a coming from what looks to be an open hole that has a small wire coming from it and this is located above the pan and forward of the lines. When I shut the car off in about 30-40 seconds the fluid runs from this open area and down. I do not know what the open hole would be except some type of linkage that I did not use when installing. I know this doesn't give a lot to go with but I have had great luck before and hope someone can lead me in the right direction. If you know of a sight that I could see the exterior of a transmission this would help as well. Thanks for all your help.

trans requires a detent cable attached at trans and then to the carb for kick down.
Some cables use an O ring like pictured.. modern cables use a rubber sleeve... install the sleeve FIRST , then slide cable end into the sleeve. Lube cable end, then slide it home. !
