Turbo 350 Transmission leak

I recently installed a rebuilt turbo 350 in my 71 Nova. I have about 50-75 miles on the car and all was going well till this weekend when I noticed a large puddle of trans fluid under the car.I have traced the leak to an open hole located on the rt side of the trans in the area of the trans lines. The leak is a coming from what looks to be an open hole that has a small wire coming from it and this is located above the pan and forward of the lines. When I shut the car off in about 30-40 seconds the fluid runs from this open area and down. I do not know what the open hole would be except some type of linkage that I did not use when installing. I know this doesn't give a lot to go with but I have had great luck before and hope someone can lead me in the right direction. If you know of a sight that I could see the exterior of a transmission this would help as well. Thanks for all your help.

trans requires a detent cable attached at trans and then to the carb for kick down.

Some cables use an O ring like pictured.. modern cables use a rubber sleeve... install the sleeve FIRST , then slide cable end into the sleeve. Lube cable end, then slide it home. !
