Turbo 350 Transmission Leaking
Help...... HAVE A 350 trans in a 78 vette and its leaking from where the speedometer cable enters the trans. Its loose. Does it have a o ring in it ???? Can I just pop the speedometer housing out or do I need a special tool to remove ????

Undo bolt, Remove bracket, Carefully remove head & gear.Replace o-Ring & add silicone sealer because head is probably worn, Replace & done.Bob

theres also an o-ring on the inside of the housing for sealing the speedo gear
NO sealant gets applied to that one(for obvious reasons)
