where is the 86/87 GN's EPROM(chip) located? I havent found a site that shows the location of it, and I need to see what chip the prev owner put on it, becasue I think he put a chip requireing higher octane(maybe 93) than what i have been putting in it(91 due to avaliablity) thinking it had the stock chip.

pull the computer and remove the small cover, it should be inside if I'm not mistaken?

Either under the kick pad or in back of the glove box. There are some good sites for GN in the Knowledge Base, very good tips.
