turbo help

I need someone who really knows turbos to help me out.

I have a Ford 2.3L engine I am in the process of building and I want to know if I should look for a smaller exhaust housing. I'm putting together a fairly stock turbo 2.3L ford engine with a ported head and a 240/240 cam (.050") with a hahn motorsports super 16g turbo.

The super 16G has a 10cm exhaust housing and I am wondering if I should go to a 7cm housing. A lot of people are running these housings to the power levels I want (350hp at the flywheel) pretty easily- but they are doing them on 4g63 mitsu engines- a far different design than what I am working with.

I felt the larger exhaust housing would be a better match for the cam, but since my power levels are relatively low should I look into swapping to a smaller exhaust housing? I can get a 6 or 7cm housing fairly easily.

I won't be instaling this engine for a while, so I do have some time to find these housings, I just want to know if I should look for one.

I probably should just wait and see how the 10cm one performs but I really have no idea, I'm pretty sure I'm the only guy who is running this combo.

There's the trick. Mitsu doesn't use AR's, I thought that was awfully nice of them...

They go by exhaust housing size, basically there's the 3 I listed, 6,7, and 10. Of course I could open up a 7 to an 8- that's fairly common on DSM's.

Picked up a used 6cm housing for $20. I's going to port it out some and install al larger flapper. I'll start with the 6cm housing and if I decide to put it on a track I'll switch to the 10cm.

BTW from what I could find the 6cm is about a .45 AR, and the 10CM is about a .80.

There's a fair amount of overlap on the cam I'll be using so I'm curious as to how all of this will work. All I know is that I'm starting with low boost and playing it safe.
