Turbo Hydramatic Transmission
I pulled a transmission from a 1988 Chevy Caprice, 4.3l V6 the transmission only has a small metal tag for identification. The tag reads
TURBO HYDRA MATIC CA B HYDRAMATIC serial no. DIV OF GEN. MTRS CORP 86-CAB- 6636 Anyone know of where I might find or have any info on this transmission?

there is a sticky thread at the top of the main tranny-rearend page; "Transmission Information"
there are photos and links that will help you to ID the tranny
