Turbo AND Super Charging
Is it possible to be running both a Turbocharger AND a Super Charger on a car?
Or how bout 2 superchargers, the first one supercharges the second one? Just asking, Mike |

I don't think you could get the compression low enough....

yes you can feed a supercherger into another supercharger.
for example, in the peak of pre war supercharging in 1939 mercedes had a crank driven blower pumping into another blower up to 26 pounds of boost! it also produced 483 HP out of 183 CI the setup was very advanced and even featured full throttle fuel enrichment. remember this was in 1939!!!! -Leo- |

You lower compression on street engines. Pro Nitro cars run high compression and tons of boost. I have seen a 32 Ford with twin 671 blowers on a y type manifold.
