turbo system

Anyone know anything about a Martin Turbosystem for a SBC? I ran across a guy who has a complete system(turbo-intake manifold-exhaust manifolds and exhaust pipes) and he wants $600.00 for the complete setup. Question 1 does anyone know anything about the system pro or con and 2nd question is it worth the money he is asking?

I don't know anything about that particular kit, but I do know that you've got to put a lot of thought into selecting a turbo. You've got to decide what pressure ratio you want(based on boost), and then plot it on the flow map for the turbo with the airflow of the engine in question. Then you get into choosing the A/R ratio for the turbine. This is all based on what you want to do with it. Long story short, the 600 could be either a steal or a dud. You won't know until you find out what the kit really is. Good luck.

I would be willing to bet, even without seeing it, that it is a draw through system designed as a bolt on for use with oem quadrajet. It could not be much more for that price. Proabably has a single turbo on one side with a crossover. Supposedly those systems work well on stock engines. Show us some pictures and I can tell you better what to expect. You can tell most of the above is troll info, so dont take it to heart. Let us know.......
