I just google imaged "Turbonique" and came up with all kinds of cool photos. this first one rings a bell, I remember seeing this years ago.

And of course I should have figured, here it is at Don Garlits museum.

You know, somewere at that Museum (never been there ) there are a pair of 16" M/H Dragmasters (they were basically NOS) that I personally donated to Don twenty years ago at the Fremont Dragstrip where he was running his Swamp Rat II at a Nostalga drags. One day I have to go and visit them.

That 1000 HP messenger of doom would be just the ticket to wake up my Harley. It'd be easy to adapt it, but it would make going around corners a little weird.

Too bad the guy ended the auction early. I wonder what the error was?

Later, mikey

Someone probably offered him the cash outside of eBay, saved a ton on fees!

There is a guy that comes into my sons shop that has more money than brains. He buys anything with jet engines that he can find. The shop faces a motorcyle shop next door and when the guy comes in and fires it up to show off, he scares the crap out of everyone! So far he's had a small truck with a jet engine in the back and now has some small import car with 2 little ones stuffed in the back. Pretty impressive but crazy!

Mark

I read a HOTROD Article on that, it said it would smoke the tire the whole quarter because of the instant connection to the wheels.
