Turnpike Cruiser Engine

I have a 58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser without engine; can anybody tell me in wich car (mercury or not) can I find a V8 that will fit and look correct for the car? I mean, I dont want a 292 or any other Y block with two bolts per valve cover, or a 289 or 302. I want to pop up the hood and see a V8 that looks like the original 383 or 430. Where I live is very difficult to find Mercury engines so Im looking for a good replacement.
Also, any info about push button trans selector?

Thanks a lot.

If you have a 58 TPC and cannot find a MEL 430, the 460 will be the logical replacement.

Now the MERC-O-MATIC using the selector will not go against the 460, so you may have to delete that item and go to column or floor shift.
