TV bracket for Vortec Heads

I think I've finally found an answer to my TV cable problem. I've got an aftermarket bracket that bolts on the back of the carb. The trans is a 200R4. Intake and carb are Edelbrock. The throttle cable is ok, but the TV cable is about 4-5" short. Complicating everything are the Vortec heads which have a different pattern.
According to Edelbrock, their bracket # 8032 is the answer. Got one on order...let you know.

Forget the Edelbrock bracket. I mounted it tonight. The TV cable is still too far from the carb and the throttle cable is mounted such an angle that it rubs on the carb (Performer) fast idle linkage. Boo!
Anybody running Vortec heads with an Edelbrock and a 200R4?
