TV Cable

I didn't want to ask a question in the middle of Destructo's thread.
Are the GM 200 and 200R4 TV cables the same? I've got a 200R4 linked to a SBC with an Edelbrock carb. I've got the aftermarket bracket that mounts the throttle and TV cables on the rear flange of the carb. The cable is the one for the former 200 trans. There is a 4-5" gap between the end of the cable and the carb stud. Was/is the 200R4 longer?

t.v. cable

yes it is., and positioned farther back then the 200c. u should be able to buy a replacement cable for it about anywhere, but a local trans shop might be of better assistance. gl
