Twin I Beam

I have been asked to build a rat truck using a 65 f 100 chassis and body. My first question is how do you lower a twin I beam Ford pick-up and can it be done gracefully. I am not up on ford suspension........pc

They make a I-Beam drop kit, but the only other way i know of lowering the front is by using heat but they have to be done the correct way or they are toast JMO i would go with a I-Beam drop kit if i were you. IMHO
The guy's in the link should have just what you need.

There is one other option, but it would require a good deal of work. And that is to "Z" the frame at the front end of the truck.

I'd use ifs also, there are lowering spindles and i-beams for newer trucks, just thinking out loud.
