Well I finally did the first mock up. I have the carb adapters and intake manifold adapter mostly done so I figured I would bolt it on and snap some pics. I think its going to be pleasantly over the top :thumbup:
Looks like a standard 4 barrel aluminum manifold, can't be very efficient...I would think. Probably will make some decent HP, but no where near the potential.
Yeah, probably as inefficient as anyone else who blows through a standard intake manifold...... all the vortec superchargers and turbo that do the same thing.
Theres a guy somwhere on the web that fools around with those blowers alot. Anyway if I remember right , he had two on a 460 , in a t-bird running 10's.
I will take a few pics of the intake manifold adapter on Monday. I'm getting ready to go to the cost for the weekend
My plan was to see what could be done with junkyard superchargers and a limited budget. My budget kinda went out the window when I bought the 2 new Predator carbs and the 2 scoops. But realistically if you where careful you could put this together for $600-$800 if you rebuild the superchargers yourself.
