twin turbo sbc (ssautochrome?)

hi guys, havent postet in a while... but i need some input, i am trying to find the right parts for a twin turbo sbc... the bottm end is a forged 350 from PAW, comp is 8:1 and a turbo specific cam.. i plan on running a large intercooler and a blow thru holley.. the headers ive found are either banks. at 1700$ for the pair with turbonetucs flange.. the second option is from at 995$ for the pair, also cast with provisions for extarnal wastegate, and finally some tubular stainless headers from ssautochrome they are 400$ for the dset, but are they crap???

From what I have found out about these guys is they are decent but need work. You need to inspect the welds carefully. What I have heard is they will port the tubes and reweld it because the factory welds can break pieces off and those get sent into your turbo. Also you may need to cut and reposition the wastegate tubes to work for your application.

I belive the SSauto headers are made to fit the 3rd gen f-bodys. As Nova SS stated, the welds do need to be inspected before you use them. Pretty decent pices for the money. The banks manifolds are excelent pices as they should be for the $1700! The easyest way to get a set of headers for a TTSBC is to buy a set of shortys, flip them upside down and either cut and weld your flange on or pipe them to the front of the engine bay and go from there. Good luck on the build.
