Two batteries
I bought a '69 galaxie with a 429 and i have read many places that many big blocks use a second battery. I would like to know how to hook up a second battery to my car, would it be in paralell or series. gracias.

It would be in Parallel. (Pos to Pos, Neg To Neg) Series (Pos 1 Car system, neg 1 to Pos 2, Neg 2 to ground) would give an output of 24 volts and damage the electrical system. Is this ALL it is to be used for (Just starting? not high power Audio components and the like?) In not, you may want to consider a switching solenoid and an Automatic battery isolator For charging.
