Two Cool Pics and Some Gossip

Hey guys here are a couple of pics I thought you might find interesting.

The first is of me and Troy Trepanier at Autorama in Detroit standing in front of the Sick Fish. He was very cool. I talked to his shop foreman for 5 minutes and he told me about their next project. They are building a 69 Cuda to compete on the salt in the four cylinder division. I kid you not. They guy who owns The Sniper, Ty Woodhall I believe, commissioned the build. It will have a completely scratch built four banger that displaces around 180 cubic inches. They are running it at forty pounds of boost and right now it is making 1200 hp. Thatís pretty bad, if you ask me.

This second pic is of my new tattoo. I got it two weeks ago this Thursday. I hand drew it and then had my brother re-draw it on CAD. It looked much better when he did it. I took the cad drawing to the tattoo place and it took them about two hours to complete it. Why did I get it on my left arm, you ask. Because that is the arm that sticks out the window while crusing in a hot rod.

That is one cool car. I still think they should have painted it multicolor like Foose originaly designed but... hey I didn't pay for it. Troy seems like one of the class acts in the mega hot rod club. Too bad these guys never make their way into Canada. Oh ya.... nice tat!

I prefer traditional hot rods what ever the make but the V8 flathead Ford in the Deuce really started the whole hot rodding movement. That is why I deiced to go with the Ford styled V8.

Sick fish was the Joe Rogan car on "Rides"? that car is sweet, I agree with whoever said the original paint scheme was better.

Im not knocking your tat BARZ. me personally I have "almost" gotten a bunch of car emblem tats...

I think that v8 logo is one of the all time best logos ever.. recently ford "redid" it for the v8 explorers, I was trying to get my dad to get one for his 56 f100..

I knew you weren't knocking it. I was just telling you why I got that specific emblem. BTW I like the new "updated" V8 logo. I think it would look right at home on an older rod.

Does anybody remember "Moose" from the Fast Forward Fastback episode of Rides. He's the guy I talked to to for a while and he told me about the 4 cylinder Cuda. He was very cool.

Hey BARZ I looked closer at your tat. is there some "subtle" shading under the cross or is that a trick of the camera??

I'm afraid that belly owes more to Little Debby than Budweiser but I'm sure they've contributed as well. Yea we drink beer, I've even had some good old fashioned corn made shine and a little southern home made wine! You've got to be in the Big House when they sing Hail to the Victor's to really appreciate it. I'm sure Killer knows what I'm talking about.

CGG I told everything I know about the Cuda in my first post. 180 CI four cylinder at 40 lbs of boost making 1,200 horse power. Going for the four cylinder record on the salt. You heard it here first folks.

Also that is a shadow from the swelling, no shading. I'm going back to have it touched up (some of the ink did not take) and I'll get the line on the inside of my arm straitened. Also the V in V8 is not crooked like it looks in the picture, just more swelling.

One more thing. Did anybody notice the Hotrodders.com T-shirt? Oh yea represent.
