The fender is a longer tailed version of a west coast chopper classic fender. Not much difference though.
The horse was first drawn out with a sharpie then after 6 or 7 tries untill it was right, drilled a few starter holes in each section and hand ground it out with some small bits and an air powerd pencil grinder. Afterwards cleaned up with some hand files and very thin peices of sandpaper or cordpaper. No plasma cutter could cut that out that small, if it could I would have been all about it. It wasn't stamped out of a flat sheet, it was carved from the formed peice. Not very hard at all anyone can do it. It measures roughly 8" tall X 5-7" wide from nose to tail. Never really measured it.It should look superb with black paint and a retna burning red LED.
Kevin, our quality control manager at work thought the same thing, lazer cut untill she took a walk to my little playroom and saw the aftermath.
If you try this wear gloves!
Back to paint.
