U-Joint modification

Hi guys!

I just installed a Th400 in favour of my blown th350. Unfortunately the th400 yoke doesn´t fit the U-Joint. The driveshaft requires a cap diameter of 1.125'' and the new yoke a cap with 1.063''. The caps look pretty beefy. Do you think it is a wise idea to put 2 of the caps in a lathe and turn them down to make them fit?

Should be a temporary solution, until I receive a conversion u-joint.

Your 1.125 cap joint should be a inside snap ring style joint. Google 5-3022X spicer. That should be the conversion joint you need.
