I saw old Charlie in concert this past summer, still puts on a good show, he must have gone thru 30 fiddle sticks(bows)sawing on that thing.

Yeah, he definately gives you your moneys worth and tells some good stories (in songs) to boot!! I would love to see him again before he gives it up!! Last time I saw him was at the state fair in the late 70's!!

I saw them about a year ago in concert at the casino and boy was I surprised. I figured they would be pretty good but Charlie blew me away. He sawed through three or four bows on his encore of 'Devil Went Down to Georgia", and "The Legend of Wooley Swamp" is still a haunting song. To make things better I walked out after the concert and popped five bucks in quarter machine and won $80.00

Anybody heard Uneasy Rider '88? The sequel to that song is almost as good as the original. By the way, Chalie is playing in Nashville Motor Speedway in Apr. for Mustang's 40th anniversary.

I agree mooch, the 88' version is good also! I guess that I was young and impressionable when the original came out though!! Anyway, YOU put an ending on that song, why didn't you start another? Maybe somethin' like "I get off on Main Street......step into the crowd.......sidewalk under my feet.......traffics good and loud.....? Or you choose?
